Goal Post: Meet the Teacher . . . Wait . . . I’m On the Wrong Side of the Desk

Posted on September 21, 2019 by Charles Yallowitz

This was a busy week that felt like a month.  Don’t get me wrong.  Work was a lot of fun and I’m getting used to the new stuff.  Made successful strawberry bread with one of the students and we rocked … Continue reading →

Week of the Son of Pneumonia

Posted on September 14, 2019 by Charles Yallowitz

(And I thought the song was bizarre!  Can’t say I don’t enjoy them though.) It was a week to remember . . . Not really in a good.  First full week of school, which was fun and I got into … Continue reading →

Posted on August 24, 2019 by Charles Yallowitz

I’m writing this on Wednesday since I’m going to be on a trip for a few days.  That means limited laptop time even though I’ll have it with me.  Next week, I’m going to try to rebuild a few things … Continue reading →

A Few More Days to Go!

Posted on August 17, 2019 by Charles Yallowitz

This was the last full week of camp and it was a slog.  Keep in mind that I had just gotten over pneumonia, so the cough and fatigue were lingering.  Last Sunday, I could function for about 40 minutes before … Continue reading →

Give Me a Silent ‘P’! (I Said Silent, People!)

Posted on August 10, 2019 by Charles Yallowitz

All goals for the week were curb stomped pretty badly.  Last weekend was spent resting and catching up on errands instead of outlining like I’d hoped.  That and I just couldn’t get my head into the game.  Ended up tearing … Continue reading →

This is a week of beginnings and endings . . . with no break between them.  I finished the school year and am already excited about September.  My plan is to put in for Teaching Assistant Level III over the … Continue reading →

A Long Week Ending with a Short Post

Posted on June 22, 2019 by Charles Yallowitz

What can I really say about this week?  I went to work for test proctoring (classes on Monday) and then I got maybe two hours to get to training for my summer job.  This was every day except for Friday, … Continue reading →

I Think This Week Happened and the Next One Is Coming

Posted on June 15, 2019 by Charles Yallowitz

When this goes live, I’ll still be in the big day of training for my summer job.  I’m writing this Friday night, so I don’t know what I’ve done or about to do.  This is actually the first day of … Continue reading →

Goal Post: A Really Busy Week

Posted on June 8, 2019 by Charles Yallowitz

Last weekend didn’t go as smoothly as I had hoped.  I woke up on Saturday to find that I was chosen for an extra position at my summer job.  This required another day of training, which was going to be … Continue reading →
