Gregorio Roman: The Half-Blind Hermit
Gregorio Roman gets that picture because he’s the oldest of the characters and kind of shows his age. He’s a gnome who has stayed in his lair doing experiments to the point where his eyes have trouble with candlelight. There … Continue reading

Promoting a New Series in the Same World
Back in 2013, I began blogging to promote Legends of Windemere and the ideas for blog posts came flowing. The monsters, characters, magic system, kingdoms, lore, and everything had yet to see the light of day. I introduced people to Windemere … Continue reading
Elemental Uses: Earth Can Be Fun
The last of this element series is one that doesn’t get as much attention as the others because it has a lot of limitations. Earth isn’t an element that can be rationalized very easily if it comes from the human … Continue reading
Mab: The Dark Mistress
Mab is the only character from War of Nytefall who has already been introduced to readers. She appeared in Legends of Windemere: The Mercenary Prince and kind of helped Delvin. This showed an older, more mature, not as friendly version of this … Continue reading

Elemental Uses: The Versatile Wind
Unlike fire, wind is used with a lot of versatility. Many times, you’ll find characters specializing in one style like flight, wind blasts, weather manipulation, or lightning. That last one is a strange part because it’s a wind/fire combo, but … Continue reading

Elemental Uses: Fire Is More Than Destruction
Today and next week, I’m going to be doing some posts on the classical Four Element system that gets used in magic a lot. Not only going through the history, but showing various ways to use it. Typically, you see … Continue reading
Clyde: Progenitor of the Dawn Fangs
War of Nytefall is very much about Clyde because he was the first character I came up with and the adventure is based around him. He is a vampiric thief whose execution by the Followers of the Sun is interrupted … Continue reading

2017 Top 5: #2- Powers of the Windemere Sea: Magnificent Mappers
This post originally went live on May 19. There is a third group that is specific to the sea that is neither navy nor pirate. They might be found with those other two groups, but they are unique because of … Continue reading
