The Strange Before the Storm

Posted on July 27, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

I’ve mentioned a few times that Merchant of Nevra Coil (COMING IN AUGUST!) has a strange storyline for our heroes.  I’ve called it silly, but that’s not right.  It definitely has a different feel after the heaviness of The Compass … Continue reading →

First off, this is going to be Sticky Posted for a few days or the whole week.  All new posts will appear below it.  So I’m still active, but this is going to help me keep blogging in August. I … Continue reading →

Teaser Tuesday: Facing A Monster

Posted on June 16, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

This is an excerpt from Curse of the Dark Wind.  Tried to find a good Nyx/Sari scene, but those seem to be spoiler heavy or lengthy with no good severing point.  As usual, there might be a spoiler or two … Continue reading →

Teaser Tuesday: I Think She’s Mad

Posted on June 9, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

(This is from Book 11, so it’s entirely unedited and won’t be out until mid/late 2016.  Figure it’ll be a fun comparison to last week’s.)

Teaser Tuesday: Trouble with Trolls

Posted on June 2, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

Due to Ichabod Brooks & the City of Beasts (99 cents on Amazon!) being only 27 pages, I can’t really use any more teasers for it.  So, I’m going back to when things were easier and happier for my novel … Continue reading →

Casters of Windemere

Posted on May 20, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

Today I’m going to talk about the various casters that are found within Windemere. A basic caster uses incantations, gestures, and a lot of studying to utilize their aura for spells.  There are other methods though, but the common connection … Continue reading →

What Do You Like About Adventuring?

Posted on May 8, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

Luke Callindor– I kind of did that when I left home.  Just no yelling and it was night and I did more of a sneaking motion. Nyx– I was more kicking and screaming. Delvin Cunningham– The question is more about … Continue reading →

Character Hot Seat: Nyx & Delvin Cunningham

Posted on April 15, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

Nyx took the #2 spot, so I’m pairing her off with Delvin Cunningham.  These two always have great scenes together.  At least to me, there’s a special bond brewing here.  Delvin is the only one to really throw Nyx off … Continue reading →
