Posted on October 26, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

Who really knows how many Doppelgangers have appeared in the Legends of Windemere series?  Not many because revealing several main characters have been copies of the originals for most of the adventure is stupid.  I mean, could you imagine being … Continue reading →

Windemere Monsters: Wyvern

Posted on October 21, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

The Wyvern gets mistaken for a dragon a lot, but it’s not really the same.  No breath weapon and they come in two species.  Both have very powerful rear legs and leathery wings.  One has a barbed tail and no … Continue reading →

Windemere Monsters: Snake Fiend

Posted on October 19, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

One of the first monsters that appears in Legends of Windemere are the Snake Fiends, which are based off the Naga.  This is a mythological creature, but I wasn’t 100% certain of that when I wrote the story.  The name … Continue reading →

How the &$^% did I get anything done this week?

Posted on October 17, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

I’ve probably been grumpier and snappier than usual.  Disease has run through the house and I wasn’t lucky enough to catch it.  That means I don’t have an excuse for taking naps, which I really needed.  My head is spinning … Continue reading →

Posted on October 16, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

Windemere Monsters: Spadix (Scorpion Men)

Posted on October 14, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

The Spadix are more interesting in their creation than their book appearances.  Only because they’re savage creatures that aren’t exceptionally bright.  Think of a centaur, but it’s the body of a scorpion complete with stingers and pincers.  The human part … Continue reading →

Teaser Tuesday: The Bored Baron

Posted on October 13, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

I just grabbed an opening from one of the books.  Things have been chaotic and I keep having trouble choosing excerpts.  Doesn’t help that I’m diving into the next book of the series today and am still wondering how things … Continue reading →

Windemere Monsters: Fairy Kind

Posted on October 12, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

I’ll admit that I’m kicking myself for doing a general name, but it is what it is.  The fairies of Windemere have a lot of variety and I’m always discovering new ones.  Each one is a different even if they … Continue reading →

Stare into the Monster Maker (Day 2)

Posted on October 9, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

These creatures have been ‘donated’ by C.S. Boyack: Jambphibians The new is rather confusing because these deep sea animals aren’t amphibians.  The name comes from them resembling bio-luminescent door jambs with two webbed legs.  Their size ranges from fitting in … Continue reading →
