Coming in with a Reputation

Posted on July 20, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

I’ve been doing some thinking about heroes and their reputations.  Mostly how I work with them in my books.  I’ve always found it interesting when a character considers the long term affect of their adventures.  Even if they don’t think … Continue reading →

The Merchant of Nevra Coil Needs Volunteers!

Posted on July 16, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

First, be careful searching for ‘volunteer’ pictures when you have Safe Search off.  Half the stuff was ‘Hunger Games’ and the rest were . . . I’m just glad my son wasn’t in the room because I’m not ready for … Continue reading →

Posted on July 14, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

I admit that doing teasers from The Merchant of Nevra Coil is tough because I don’t want to reveal one of the big things just yet.  I might do it in next week’s Tuesday thing since I’ll be getting opinions … Continue reading →

Spontaneous Update Post and Rambling

Posted on July 9, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

Heat and not sleeping well has made me drowsy.  It probably doesn’t help that I’ve been doing walks in the humidity (errands) and stay in a hot part of the house to get work done.  What work?  Well, I’m just … Continue reading →

Amazon Ranking Change?

Posted on June 18, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

I woke up to a strange sight: This is the Product Details page for SLEEPER OF THE WILDWOOD FUGUE.  At first I was confused because being in the 78,000 range shouldn’t have put me in any ranking list.  Well, it … Continue reading →

Teaser Tuesday: Facing A Monster

Posted on June 16, 2015 by Charles Yallowitz

This is an excerpt from Curse of the Dark Wind.  Tried to find a good Nyx/Sari scene, but those seem to be spoiler heavy or lengthy with no good severing point.  As usual, there might be a spoiler or two … Continue reading →
