Hope for 2020 . . . Do I Dare to Be Optimistic?

You know what?  I’m going with the meme up there.  I have hopes that I will do the following:

  1. Enjoy as much time with my son as possible.
  2. Continue working and having fun.
  3. Publish 2-3 books.
  4. Write 3-4 books.
  5. Make headway on teacher certification and a Masters Degree.
  6. Continue healing from the divorce.
  7. See if I can do a special project with one or two books.
  8. Do better with biking and eating better.  (I really suck at the second thing.)
  9. Might want to finish that outline for one of the Sin books . . . I’ve gotta name that series at some point.

That’s really it.  I’m going back to bed.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

Take comfort in that striving to be better can be a constant goal. So often I think people get wrapped up in the new year resolution craze. Take heart my friend.

    • I don’t even bother with new year resolutions. I just get in these moods where I want to try eating healthier. Part of me knows things will get derailed somehow. Either I go out too often for food with friends or someone else eats all of the fruits that I bought for lunch, so I’m forced to buy until I can go grocery shopping. Honestly, I think one of the hardest things with getting into better shape is maintaining hope and heart because it takes a lot less time and effort to become unhealthy than healthy. Really feels like a manufacture flaw with our species at times.
