About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

One question that comes up a lot for fantasy in general is what dragons eat.  You would think meat and you’d be right.  The question really stems from wondering how a creature so massive can exist without wiping out an … Continue reading →

Posted on August 15, 2014 by Charles Yallowitz

Yes, I know this is probably the third time I’ve put her in the hot seat.  First time was good and second time went relatively unnoticed.  Still, she returns in Legends of Windemere: The Compass Key to reveal that she’s … Continue reading →

Ask-A-Character: General Vile the Halfling Swordsman

Posted on August 14, 2014 by Charles Yallowitz

This is really becoming a week of predominantly villains because here is another agent of Baron Kernaghan.  Honestly, there’s nothing really vile about General Vile.  He is a halfling warrior with a sense of honor, but he can be cruel … Continue reading →
