Majestic and ancient
Alive before the campus rose
Remembering its brethren
Long since axed and mulched
It stands before the freshman dorm
Content with its humble life
It could live this way forever

Oh my did the U-haul get him???? Pine trees have the problem unfortunately of having a v-a-s-t root system…made me smile anyway! 🙂
