Not Enough

There is never enough

Hours feel like minutes

Minutes pass like seconds

A second does not exist

Scrambling through my day

Or inching along my timeline

The ending is the same

Not enough time

Not nearly enough time

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

So true! As much as I like sleeping, if I could just skip it, I would.

When I was working in corporate America the opposite was true. Time would creep by. It seemed as if the end of my work day would never come. But now it seems to slip through my hands so quickly. I guess that is what happens when you are doing something that you love.
