(This was another poem where I just wanted to have fun. We certainly use the word ‘heart’ for a lot of things.)
I agree whole-heartedly
With all the bleeding hearts
That a broken heart can scar
Becoming a heavy heart
Forcing one to pour the heart out
Bloody tears creating a cold heart
It is a hardened heart of ice
A heart worn upon the sleeve
Refusing to open the heart
Lest someone steal the heart
Risking a change of heart
That could bloom from the bottom of one’s heart
Wow. Very searing and sad. A response to the life event?

This is actual an old poem. Although, it really does fit for the current situation. Probably should be sadder at this point.

If I can use some humor at first, the meme reminds me of that “Pizza is the essence of life” quote from the every pop punk vocalist video on YouTube. Yes, I’m also aware of THAT Shrek meme, too.
In all seriousness, this was a realistic take on emotions.

Never heard of the pizza thing before.

It’s a joke that referred to a common thing that happened in the pop punk music scene around the late 00s/early 10s and people in the music scene gave it a derogatory term of “pizzacore” for a lot of these suburban bands who were obsessed with The Story So Far, Man Overboard, The Wonder Years (not the TV show), etc. Here’s the video for context: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9gvb2z1gCg
