The sunny days
Give me smiles
And energy to spare
Snow brings chills
And mesmerizing peace
Swirling into drowsy thoughts
Rain dampens moods
Filling the air
With a cleansing scent
Distracted by howling days
Where windows rattle
And the gales make me jump
I drop all for thunder
Rushing to see the lightning
Utter joy when night turns day
Anger rises with hail
Banging off car and home
Leaving dents in the morning
The glorious storm
Leaving me in wonder
Up until the rainbow finale
This poem summarizes my day yesterday. We had a huge storm blow in. I could hear the plink-plink of hail. Wish I could have seen a rainbow!

We just have heat. Wouldn’t mind a storm to cool things off. It is frustrating when cool weather happens and you can’t watch it.

Though it rained like there was no tomorrow, today we’re back to heat, heat, heat!
