It’s Time for Another ‘Volunteer Post’

I know people are probably getting tired of this since I might have already gathered as many forces as I can.  Doesn’t hurt to keep asking though.  Need this debut to be big since it’ll be a December release and I’m going for a $2.99 price tag.  I’m toiling away on the hype week blog posts with daily poems, interviews, and an ‘about Windemere’ post for each day.  A lot of stuff happens in Allure of the Gypsies:

  • The Callindor Family
  • Luke’s past
  • First Weapon Dragon appears
  • Isaiah’s past
  • Lich’s past
  • Gypsies
  • Queen Ionia of Windmill
  • A hero gets new abilities
  • Somebody dies
  • New villains are introduced
  • The MAIN plot of the series is finally touched on

It’s where the ball really gets rolling in terms of character destiny and development.  So, here I am again asking for volunteers.

Cover Reveal

This is on November 25th, so I will send the info out as soon as you volunteer.  This is going to kick off the hype week and it is different from the blog tour in that it focuses on making people aware of an upcoming debut.

Blog Tour

Got a lot of volunteers, but I’m greedy and always want more.  I’ll send you the cover, author pic, and a Word file of the information along with a schedule.  You only have to post on your day.  The day you post, I make a ‘Check out these Volunteers’ post on my blog directly people to your blog and any published works you want me to mention.  The information for this will be sent out either November 30th or December 1st in order to include the Amazon site.  The point of this event is to direct people to the released book and the rest of the series.

Twubs Chat

This is going to be a fun event the day before release.  From 8pm to 10pm EST, I will be on Twitter in a Twubs Chat area under the hashtag #windemerespeaks.  Here is where you get to ask characters of Windemere anything you can think of.  I will give instructions on how to get there earlier in the day.  This post will include a list of characters with a brief one or two sentence explanation.  I’ve also been given permission to post this on Readfulthings.  Key point of this event is to have fun.

Those are the big events that I’m gearing up for.  It’s going to be a busy couple of weeks for me, so thank you to everyone who is willing to lend a hand.

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

I wish you all the best on your release, Charles. I’ll send out a couple of tweets during launch. Just give me a head-up as to when would be a good time.

    • You’ll definitely see the big announcement when the time comes. I would say whenever the book goes live. I know I’m going to be going insane on the 1st by sending in and setting up all the marketing sites.

Feel free to join the Twubs Chat on the 30th if you want. 😉

  3. Remember, I want to make a marketing post featuring you and your book on whatever date you think fits in best. This reminds me that I need to get working on that. 🙂

Thanks for liking my morning’s post but for some reason the post got deleted and I had to re-upload the entire thing…and in the process lost your ‘like’ that meant a lot to me. If it’s not too much of a trouble may I request you to re-post your like. Like I said, it is these little things that keep a writer going… Thank you so much! MD

Hiya Charles, I’m here for whatever you need. I’m going out of the country on Dec 1, but anything up until that point – I’ll blog, fb, and tweet the heck out of it! I’ll be back Jan 5 if you need a post-release thing too. loricraneauthor@gmail.com
