And here I wait
Dreading every minute
Fearing every second
Because I do not know
Will today end in disappointment?
Will it end in victory?
I will distract myself
Yet I will continue coming back
Waiting in anxiety
Because I want to move
Patience is a virtue
And I have never been that virtuous
Though I guess I need to learn

The hardest lesson. Unfortunately patience in the writing and publishing field is a blessing. Everything takes too long

That it does. It gets harder when you have so many people asking when your book is going to debut. Eventually, you get tired of going ‘soon’.

I can tell you about mine. I still don’t know and it’s been finished since August

The dreaded “P” word. It’s not one of my best virtues. I’m working on it though. This was a great poem…wonderful word pictures 🙂

It will come through when you least expect it. Isn’t that what always happens in these situations?

So turn around already. But then you would expect it so it wouldn’t work.

I think I skipped the patience queue. Perhaps it was too long.

It was you and Ionia wasn’t it?

No. We were busy causing trouble on the ‘take life seriously’ line. We were booted out before we got any.

Oh yeah I saw the commotion over there. If I’d known it was you two I would have left the ‘one-liners line and come and given you both a mouthful.

I think you got your money’s worth on that line though.
