Blurb:
When trapped in an elevator together, Jeffrey and Darla learn that misery doesn’t always love company. With the screams of death and chaos echoing from outside, they find themselves slowly slipping into a world of fear and darkness they may never recover from. All the while, something is terrorizing the convention outside and turning the guests and celebrities into psychotic monsters.

I don’t read much horror, but I have to say this looks interesting. I’m going to check it out. 🙂

I don’t read or write horror, so it’s an experiment. I’m hoping it reads well and gets some scares. Though, I might have gone more for gore than fright.

Good idea. The Internet will still be here when you get back. Unless you’re like me and mastered a form of speed eating.

Yay, congratz to you!
But I must tell you something! The lettering on the cover is not corrected and yeah, to me, it means jack shit – cause I love your writing and I want to read it because of that, I have expirienced reading you as an author of books, a writer in general AND a great person.
But, a Random Joe will notice this and might not be interested, because it tells to some people that you just did not pay attention to your own book or you are just gullible when purchasing or organising the cover services. This sort of thing is a little nitpick that separates the professional thing from just anybody.
Lining up lettering properly is a 2 minute ruler job in basicly any program. And I think you paid for this cover. Wether you did or did not – your writing does not deserve this. I am sorry if the comment is offending, but I always say what I think.
In any case, if you need help with it, I can do it for you, it’s a 2 minute job that really makes a difference when you are trying to market.

I thought we had it fixed. I can talk to the guy again and see what can be done. Though, I think he’s busy with his own book release now.
Honestly, I’m having trouble finding this lining problem. I can see some extra space on the left, but it doesn’t appear to be noticeable when the cover is in the thumbnail size. At least, I don’t see it unless I look for it. Is it the title?

Yes, it is the title. Like I said, to me and you this may not be much, but it is a thing that separates a serious publishing other then just throwing your work out there. I don’t know will you advertise this book and try to get it an audience, but in case you are, this would have been considered a sloppy job

I am going to put a little free marketing behind it, but nothing close to the extent of my novels. A few tweets and FB posts to get it to Halloween.
I’ll talk to the guy who did it and see if he can fix it again.
