The Art of Apology

(With mistakes comes apologies, which will be another big thing in War of Nytefall: Ravenous.)

A single word
That depends on tone
Used in sincerity
To repair the harm
That one has caused
Used like a defense
To avoid blame
And consequences
Used out of fear
To dodge a rage
That hunts for a target
Used without a care
Dripping with sarcasm
That seeps into a wound
Used without thinking
A knee jerk reaction
When attention fades
A chameleon of emotion

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
