About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

How true. Especially the last one. The game that caused me the most broken controllers(when I was much younger) was Super Mario 3. Yes. Super Mario 3. No matter how many times I played it, I could not beat that dang thing.

    • That was a tough one. The one that killed me was Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade’s Revenge. Couldn’t beat that even with the Game Genie.

I never played that one. I always wanted a game genie. Did that actually help/work?

      • Depended on the game. Some games had great codes and others had lame ones. There was one game that had unlimited continues, but that didn’t help because that always puts you at the beginning of the level. You only had 1 life too. Then there were ones with unlimited lives, indestructibility, and unlimited ammo. I used it a lot on Super Metroid after I beat it the first time. Just so I could goof off.
