Character Poem: Zaria

ReheadLocks of fire
Fall on alabaster shoulders
Of a body cloaked in white
Goddess of Purity
The one who averted the fall
When other gods were sealed
Or lost within their minds
Salvation came
From a woman born of blade
And ascended pure of soul
That now holds a tainted touch
Yet still she embodies hope
Worshiped by the voice of good
Zaria will be
Forever loved

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

I always forget that Zaria has red hair. I think it’s all the subliminal messaging that purity means white/blonde/pale. Rock those firey tresses, Zaria!
