Four years ago
You came along
Curious and grabby
Now you talk with words
Before you ate just milk
Now a fight
To feed you meals
Unless cupcakes, cookies, carrots
My little shadow
Running to hugs
Hoping I don’t find your mess
Laughing and smiling
The way you’re meant to be
Four years ago
You came into my life
And I can’t remember
The times before you lived
Happy birthday to my son. Now off to buy him some Ninja Turtle figures and let him eat fries for the entire day. What the birthday boy wants, he gets.

Enjoy the birthday!

Thanks. We’re having a blast. Bought him the Ninja Turtle Van with two of the turtles. He leaves the telescoping spinning rod, but he won’t let us connect a turtle.

Thanks. Though, I think he’s the best gift I’ve ever had. One day he’ll get a kid and think the same. On that day, I’ll be ready to remind him of everything he put me through. 🙂

Yes, what are dads for? I don’t have children, but my dad and I are very close. He has always been a gift to me because he loves me no matter what mischief I have gotten in to.

Isn’t it amazing how quickly you forget your life before they were in it. Enjoy him as you are doing, they don’t stay young for long. Have a great day.
