You are always there
Keeping legs warm
And groins hidden
Holding our keys and wallets
As we go about our day
You come in many forms
Some to swim
Others to hug and lift
Even those that hide
Beneath their larger brethren
We use you for all tasks
Carrier of essentials
Hider of shame
Napkin on the go
Your jobs know no bounds
The abuse that you withstand
Shredded knees
Frayed cuffs
Eternal stains
Of long forgotten sources
Do you believe
That we take you for granted
Wearing you out
And never giving thanks
Before we throw you out
Love!! What an interesting tribute to pants! π

Clever! Would make great script for a Calvin Kline or Levi commercial. π

Never thought of that. Probably because those Calvin Kline models look a little creepy to me.

All of them look dead inside to me. It’s in the eyes. π

I love it! Ode to pants! Also love the new format. It’s nice to have the colorful cool of the trees in the background while keeping it clean in the field where you’re trying to read. Like like like.

Thanks. I was hoping people would get a kick out of the pants poem. It definitely looks a lot better and clearer than the last one. Guess my curiosity-induced icon click that undid the old theme was a smart move.
