I’m thinking of doing another sneak peek of a future book. I’m torn between the following scenes:
- Introduction of Sari the gypsy from Legends of Windemere: Allure of the Gypsies.
- Exciting chase scene over the trap-filled rooftops of a city that ends with Nyx going toe-to-toe with her rival.
- A piece of the Goblin Swarm incident from Legends of Windemere: Prodigy of Rainbow Tower.
Biggest downside to 2 and 3 is that it would reveal who the heir is in Beginning of a Hero. I’m not a fan of throwing out spoilers of my own work, but my focus on characters over the initial plot is kind of driving me to post some of the more developmental scenes.
Any suggestions?

My wife voted for that one too, but she’s the real Nyx, so I can’t always listen to her. It’s definitely a fun scene.

I’m at a decent 90% agree quota. There are some suggestions that I can’t go along with. Mostly involving eating mushrooms or soy milk. 🙂
Really I’m typing this because she’s reading over my shoulder and glaring at me. It’s adorable. 🙂
