(We’ve all heard this one.)
This is the way to win
It always works for me
No other path
No other act
Shall lead to victory
It is genius
Look at my proof
View my success
Listen to my tale
Know that this is truth
It will not fail
It failed?
Well
It always works for me
You must have done it wrong
About Charles Yallowitz
Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
Very apt description of a frustrating experience. I have followed the advice of others about writing and getting published only to fail. Whenever someone starts with “All you have to do” or phrases of that ilk, I feel wary. Some things are not one size fits all! Also, crucial elements are sometimes left out of the guaranteed-success equation. Some people were at the right place at the right time or were given a break by someone else.

I think some people miss a few crucial elements too. They don’t notice things like lucky timing.
