Poetry Day: Magic Beans

Yahoo Image Search

(Not really sure where this one came from.  Darwin is mentioned, but it has nothing to do with his story.)

Darwin had a bag of beans

Each with a special gift

The red beans made him super strong

The green beans made him tall

The blue beans made him like a fish

The yellow beans gave him wings

The orange beans would keep him warm

The purple beans made him full

The white beans turned him into gas

The brown beans forged his skin of stone

The pink beans gave him icy breath

The black beans made him Death

He used these beans to survive his trials

And cause mischief in his wake

For the owner of the magic beans

Is cursed to never sleep

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
