Poetry Day: A Giant Did It

Andre the Giant

(The stories we tell children to explain things can be funny.  I thought about how you can explain a lot with giants.  Nice to see I had some positive and goofy poems in the mix.)

When the wind blows

A giant has sneezed

*

When the thunder roars

A giant has clapped

*

When the ocean rises

A giant has splashed

*

When the rain falls

A giant has cried

*

When the earth shakes

A giant has fallen

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

So great! And I love seeing Andre the Giant here. The Princess Bride is such a favorite.
