 Another year passes
This one horrible
To many
Nothing gone right
So much gone wrong
Happy to put the months behind
To nurture hope
A new year
Means fresh chances
And adventures
That may go in our favor

    I’ll consider 2017 a success if we avoid perishing in a nuclear armageddon. Since I enter it with such low expectations, I hope to be pleasantly surprised by it. Indeed, I’ll up the ante and wish that 2017 brings us nothing but joy!
