Well, I was asked to make a post where my various characters say what they’re thankful for. Let’s get right into it! Also feel free to ask for anyone I forgot in the comments.

Luke Callindor- Patient friends and healing potions.
Nyx- A big family and my magic.
Fizzle- Apples and healthy teeth.
Sari- Having a new clan of friends. Bet people thought I’d say something like money, so neener neener.
Timoran Wrath- To have met such loyal and kind friends during my travels. Is this supposed to be more materialistic?
Delvin Cunningham- I don’t know. Feels like everyone would say family. I’ll be a jerk and go with . . . I’m really the wrong one to do this.
Sari again- I’m thankful for easy marks and pretty dresses. There we go.
Dariana- Being awake and having friends.
Kira Grasdon- Luke and all of my friends after what happened in Bor’daruk. (CHECK OUT LEGENDS OF WINDEMERE: SLEEPER OF THE WILDWOOD FUGUE!) Why do I get the promo?
Trinity- That my people are alive to see another day.
Yola Biggs- I’m thankful for having knees because they help me bend my legs and walk.
The Lich- The blessing and trust of my master.
Baron Kernaghan- Such an odd tradition. Perhaps I’m thankful for the hard work of my agents?
Stephen Kernaghan- For *removed due to graphic nature*
Merchant of Nevra Coil– For business being good and my new experiments showing promise.
Ichabod Brooks– My family. That’s all I need to be happy.
Cassidy- Wait. I’m not from this world. Is this right?
Lloyd Tenay- Just go with it and say hi. I’m thankful for knives, graphic t-shirts, being out of prison, my winning smile, and to all those bad guys that failed to kill me. I couldn’t have won without your ineptness and being made of squishy flesh. Now where’s a turkey to carve? I mean a real turkey and not an odd hint at killing somebody . . . Seriously, people, I’m hungry.

Yola was a tough one because I had so many choices. As for Raven’s Hold, Dawn would be thankful for Corvus and he would be thankful for her. They’re crazy, but a question like this would be answered simply. Just finished an outline for the sequel too.

Loved this! And it made me think of how my characters would answer that question. For many of them, it’d probably be something to the effect of “family, not being dead, not being Travis”. For Travis, it’d probably be “family”.
