On The Road Again on Friday

Some updated pics of the rugrat:

Friday morning (sorry about the wrong day) I leave for another weekend trip and this one is a family visit.  That means I’ve got no idea what’s going on.  Also, when I say I leave in the morning, I mean EARLY.  I’ll be on the road to beat out the morning traffic and it’s an 8-10 hour drive to Buffalo.  This will be repeated in reverse on Monday.  So I’ll be scheduling Saturday’s goal post along with a few other things.  Going to make this easy with notes:

  1. Watch out for a great guest post from C.S. Boyack!  I’ll be on his blog too!
  2. Sunday will have multiple posts to help Barb Caffrey promote the books written by her and her late husband.  So please share those posts to help an indie author out.
  3. I updated the WordPress app on my iPhone.  The result is that it no longer works.  I will have my laptop, but that may only be a morning and night thing.
  4. I will be trying my best to use my phone power predominantly for retweeting, but I’m trying to figure out the schedule I should use.  Currently thinking of a 3am, 9am, 3pm, 9pm, repeat thing until I get home on Monday.
  5. This will be a long and exhausting trip.  There will also be a lot of outdoor time.
  6. Have a fun July 4th weekend.  Unless you don’t celebrate and then just have a fun weekend with no significance beyond surviving another work week.

(Post ended early because of repeated calls from other room and a child demanding that he click the button.  Not sure what else I had to say.)

'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  2. Have a wonderful time 😀 I don’t celebrate the 4th of July, but it’s actually my sister’s birthday on the 5th and we are going away for the weekend too. I hope you get a post fixed up for tomorrow.

    • Thanks and have fun. Not sure I’ll have anything going up tomorrow. I’ll be too busy packing and scheduling stuff for the weekend. I’ve got something for Friday through Monday though. Not that I can really comment on stuff thanks to the phone issue.

  3. My daughter can’t wait for the minions movie to come out. She got her minion out of the closet recently in anticipation.

    • Watching the second movie with my son tomorrow. Not sure he’s able to sit in a big theater right now. Talks too much and gets scared in crowds.

      • It’s always hard to judge when the time is right. Seems like I always try too early and wind up missing out on half a movie.

      • He’ll be going to the movies with his summer school class. Maybe they’ll see the movie. He’s really unpredictable. Got terrified by the opening of Aladdin, but he sat through the last half of Jurassic Park. He walked in when I was watching the latter and was excited when the T-Rex chased the car. Couldn’t get rid of him after that.

  5. Have a lovely, relaxing, charging-the-batteries kind of break 🙂

Boy’s adorable as always. But is that Bob or a minion in the first pic?

The picture of your son and the bear made me giggle nervously when I realize the bear was probably at the zoo and not out wandering around. 🙂
Have a great trip! Safe travels!

Handsome boy you have. Love the minions too. I crocheted two minions for my grandchildren. All kids seem to love them.
