So I’m heading out for a weekend away tomorrow. A post is scheduled to go up and I’ll be doing the same with a few tweets. The only thing I might be doing is retweeting from time to time. I’ll only have the iPhone around and the WP app isn’t being nice. Also I will probably be running around. Hard to tell since the actual full day I’ll be away has that rain and thunderstorm picture on it. That might end up being ‘Jurassic World’ and we’ll do the outdoor stuff on Sunday. It’d so be my luck that the one real vacation I take in a few years ends up being a wash out.
Anyway, I have a group of great bloggers who are hosting guest posts of mine over the next three days. These are all ‘retro’ posts from my blog with updates to make them more modern. So check out these great, supportive people and follow them if you aren’t already because they are awesome.
Kylie Betzner
John W. Howell
Jo Robinson
C.S. Boyack
Linda Washington
S.K. Nicholls
Sue Vincent
The Story Reading Ape
Nicholas Rossis
Melissa Barker-Simpson
John T. M. Herres
Wow. That’s a lot. Many of these bloggers are authors too, so please check out their books if you can. All great book. Now, I will probably not be getting to replying to comments on the guest posts until Sunday night or Monday. Depends on my energy since I’m the driver and we’re not taking the munchkin, so he may try to avoid sleep when we return. Now to get things ready and try to crank out some of Book 11 before I have to leave it behind. At least I’m being allowed a notebook.

Have a good time. I’ll wait a day or so to post mine. Lots of them seem to go up on day one.

I think many are planning on Friday and Sunday. Only one person said Saturday so far.

Thanks. Enjoy the guest posts. Going to be weird being away for a while. Guess it preps me for a longer period in early July.

I’ll be taking next week off as well. Similarly, I have everything scheduled for next week and I’ll be carrying my iPhone and nothing else. Can’t wait! Jurassic World and my kids are on the agenda as well next week! Have I said I can’t wait? Yes, I can’t wait!

Have fun. We’re trying to figure out our plan. Weather might cause us to catch up on movies. 🙂

Those are the best vacations, though. Raining outside, a pile of movies inside, and with a massive bowl of popcorn to spur a double feature. The. Best. Vacation. Ever.

Sadly not a pile of movies. We’ll have to find a theater. Staying at a small Bed & Breakfast. Come to think of it, I’m not sure they have Wifi. I might be further gone than I realized.

I’m trying to imagine a life without Wifi. Okay, kill me now.

Looked it up and they have it. A very interesting set up in general. Looks like a large house repurposed as an Inn.

Do try to relax. You deserve it…

Thanks. Hoping to get some good rest. Going to be weird being away from the Internet, which is a little disturbing. Then again, I’m seeing that nothing I do affects book sales, so me being gone won’t really matter. 🙂

Lol – just unplug, dude. And enjoy the increased creativity that comes with relaxation (it’s a good thing you’ve gt that notebook)

Well, the notebook has a specific story target. Apparently, the anniversary present to me is getting kicked out of the house for a week in August. Being sent to a nearby hotel to write and relax.

It will be . . . I think. Nobody has explained what I’m supposed to do for food. No microwave or kitchen in the room, so I can’t really cook. (Waiting for the wife to finish getting ready. Yup.)
