Cheers for the Bad Guy?

(Pandora is really giving me some odd songs to work with here.)

Cute psycho with a mallet
Mouthy assassin with the body count
Murderous in their debuts
Casual in their sins
Overshadowing the heroes
With antics off the wall
Yet sensible in their minds

We love the whacky madness
Drawing us from reality
Leaving us craving more of them
Until they are the focus
A story is not right
Without a lovable psychotic
That gets altered as a hero

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

Ha! Yes. I’m thinking of Loki and Harley Quinn now.
I’m not sure the Baron would be thought of as a cute psycho.

    • That ‘Suicide Squad’ movie will be interesting because of Harley Quinn. She’s a difficult character to use since I think her popularity is more niche than DC realizes. Kind of like Deadpool. People in the circles know of them and love them, but you step outside and nobody has a clue.

The Baron definitely isn’t cute. Refined maybe. Not really a psycho either. Most of his dark acts are done because he feels he has to maintain his evil reputation and is emotionally dead.

  2. There is something about Hero Psychotic that is appealing.
