There’s still 11 days left to reach the goal of 100 supporters. We’re at 44 and it’s been that way for the last 2 days. So I ask again for people to click on the picture below and give their social media support for Legends of Windemere!
Also, please spread the word to others and let’s see if we can meet that October 4th goal.

About Charles Yallowitz
Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

What a wonderful dragon. He is so very,,, purple. I think of purple as the color of magic. I know Terry Pratchett disagrees with that, but what the heck, I’m not in his league anyway.

Never heard that about purple. Fizzle is full of magic though, so he backs you up. 🙂

I clicked the Illustration, and was forwarded to Thunderclap. However, I am not on any of the social media outlets( Facebook, Trwitter, Tumbler). T.T
Anyway, I wish for your success. ( I’ll buy your book, too)

Thanks. I guess the people who made the system never factored in that there are those without the chosen social media platforms. I was actually surprised Google+ wasn’t on there.

Thanks. I might not be able to get to it until the weekend. The kid has tomorrow and Friday off from school. If I get him to watch videos or Frozen then I’ll get a shot at doing it earlier. 🙂

This won’t take but a second. No obligations. Nothing to buy. Show your support for an author.

On my way!
What exactly does this campaign do? I mean, what’s the goal of doing this for you as an author? I’ve never heard of it before, and I’m curious 🙂

Thanks. From what I can tell, I create a marketing pitch that will go live on all the volunteered social media sites as long as I meet the goal by the deadline. It’s a way to get a single blast of promos for your book or whatever you’re campaigning for.

Ah! Now it makes sense. I’ve never seen it done before. Let me know if you think it helps. I’m curious if people will be able to tell that it’s automated tweets or posts. Are you planning on doing a follow up post about it? That would be super interesting!

I’ll do a follow up as long as I get the 100 by October 4th. 🙂 Right now I’m at 64 and I’m out of ideas to promote it. That’s the biggest flaw. One needs a somewhat powerful social media presence to begin with to get the 100 (or whatever goal) supporters. I’ve seen a lot of people retweet and not sign up, which gets a little frustrating. So it’s definitely a ‘no risk’ gamble that can suffer from Internet apathy.

I wonder if people aren’t doing it because you have to sign up for thunderclap? That’s holding me back. Or may they are afraid it will look like they are spamming or something? I dunno. This is my first time seeing it 🙂 I hope it works out for you!

I think the first part is more of the problem. Though I haven’t seen anything happen since I signed up. I think that’s only to allow for the automatic posting when the campaign ends.
