It’s one of the more bizarre fears I’ve stumbled into.

I think it may be part of perfectionism. You know, you’re scared you can’t do it perfectly, so you don’t do it at all.

In that case, the trick is to accept that it will never be perfect. You can get close and flawless in your own mind, but someone else will always find an issue.
