Unwhole

Something isn’t right
I knew it from the start
Maybe a taste upon the breeze
That something was amiss
My mind wanders off
Seeking an answer
To a question from my dreams
That left me long ago
All I know is I don’t feel right
A bleeding in my chest
Of blood that cannot be seen
As if something was torn out
While I slept and dreamed
Leaving me unwhole

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

Oh:( did you have a nightmare? Are you okay? Why am I asking you on here? Rhetorical.
