I might be extending this break until after the convention.  It might be a bad move to start writing the 5th book and then go off for a weekend where I can’t work on it.  Especially since the book starts a chapter or two before a big battle and the death of a major character.  Have I said too much or just enough to make you curious?

Yesterday didn’t go as planned.  Got back later than expected from parent/teacher meeting and errands.  Got caught up with a new interview for Heroic Fantasy, which I suggest everyone who loves fantasy should join.  In the end, I got nowhere on my Kindle reading and designed one minor character for ‘Tales of the Slumberlord’.  Unfortunately, the character was 75% done anyway.

Truthfully, I have no idea what went wrong.  I wasn’t paying as much attention to my reader as I usually do.  I will admit there was a lot more noise and tension in the house than usual.  Not coming from me and I have no idea what the cause of it was.  With three adults in the house all day, I guess tensions flare because each one wants something from the other two.  That’s just a guess and it’s entirely uneducated.

Hopefully, I will get a few characters done today and start reading another Kindle book.  I still have my thought post to do for the day as well as a read/review/post about a Smashwords short story.  That will probably be done later today to give my posts a bit of a spread.  Well, wish me luck.  I’m hoping to get more than one character done today.
