Been trying, but I’m out of rooftops to scream from. At least all the ones I can figure out how to get onto. It’s still strange that my sales are keeping pretty consistent with 75-100 sales a day. Yet, I’m still slipping down the ranks. I have seen that all of the Game of Thrones books (all compilations and versions) have shot up because of the looming beginning of Season 3. I’m also noticing several self-published authors who I passed before are selling for .99 cents and blew by me. So it isn’t even that I’m losing sales. It’s just that other people are starting to outsell me. Again, this isn’t really a bad thing, but I think most debut authors get nervous when their rankings begin to slip. There’s always that doubt that one can survive off the lists.

The fact that your sales are staying so consistently strong is fantastic. I know it must be hard to maintain sanity when you’re looking at the rankings – but the number of sales you’ve made already is so impressive. Stay positive!

I’m trying. I’ve got my fingers crossed that I’ll hear some cover art news this week. That should help put me at ease.
