Emotions spilled
Through ink and lead
And digitized words
Powered by the heart
Fuel for the reader
To grip and wrench
At a bleeding heart
Carrying them from tragedy
To hope
And back into the abyss
As characters move on
Through joys and pains
That sink
Into a reader’s marrow
About Charles Yallowitz
Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
Emotions spilled….Through ink and lead…And digitized words..

Thanks. I just threw it together as it came to me and I wasn’t sure how it came out. One of this write, post, and pray deals.

hahaha most of mine work the same way…. if I think too hard on what I want to write… it doesn’t quite come out the way I intended. I just let the poem speak through me instead and that seems to serve me well. π

If that’s the case then you definitely have me beat with your poetic talent. I lose the rhythm and path after a short time, so I can’t make long poems like you can.

It’s funny… for me…. I have the poem almost completely composed in my head before writing/typing one word of it.
