All Mine (I Guess I’m in a Poetic Mood Today)

I stare across the void

Cracking my knuckles

And grinning like a fiend

Prismatic fire ripples

Across my arms

Held in front

To conduct my symphony

Raising mountains

And sinking seas

I make the warming sun

To bathe my world in light

I wander

Leaving life behind

Cities appear on my horizon

While swamps fester in my wake

Waiting for the creatures

Sleeping in my mind

Until my world is done

And they are delivered to their home

They obey me

Though they never know me

For I am their invisible creator

And this is my world

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
