Kind of a Plan For 2026

So, what are the 2026 plans, goals, whatever, I don’t know:

  1. Finish writing Darwin & the Joy Path.
  2. Maybe start writing Darwin & the Hejinn Queen.
  3. Really should finish the ‘Phi Beta Files’ outlines.
  4. Support son passing 11th grade.
  5. Help son prepare and start 12th grade.
  6. Help son plan for college even though he already has a plan.
  7. Take one trip with son.
  8. Work during the summer as usual.
  9. Catch plenty of Pokemon while getting exercise.
  10. Bike more.
  11. Sleep better.
  12. Finish some puzzles and maybe Lego sets.
  13. Ignore the people who keep suggesting I try dating.
  14. Read more manga since it’s easier to take long breaks from that than novels.
  15. You know, maybe I can even start Darwin & the Nightmare Lord if I finish the other two.
  16. Stop getting my heart set on making amazing progress when my life is still borderline shambles.
  17. Continue blogging.
  18. Dream of publishing since it still makes no financial sense, which sucks because I really miss doing it.  No cover art money and no marketing money, but that first one is the real killer.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

Good plans, Charles. I sympathise with the no money for cover art and marketing. Have you tried submitting to a small publishing company? IMO your books are good enough to be published by a small press.
