Species of Creation

(Here’s the partner poem for the one I posted on Wednesday.  Enjoy.)

Opposing half our nature
Many create
Crafting monuments
From nature’s bounty
Or pulling wonders
From thin air

Driven by an urge
To create a lasting piece
In the hopes
Of making Mother Earth
More beautiful
Than when we arrived

Farms for food
Gardens for serenity
Reviving nature
After others destroy
It is their blood
To reverse some damage

Even art
Can aide creation
Inspiring acts of good
Educating
Against destruction
As the cycle of humanity spins on

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

    “It is their blood
To reverse some damage”–I feel this!! I love creation as an act of reversing the damage of the destruction of others.
