Lego Robin (Also Lego Batman)
(The desire for attention is stronger today than when I wrote this poem. Sad thing is that it seems to be more financially sound to do this.)
Stupid stunts and sickness
Done in the camera’s eye
And posted without fears
All for a stranger’s cheers
With dignity tossed aside
Clutching to your ignorance
These will come back to roost
At a time you have matured
Forgetting this act is there
Before the world it’s bared
Its return is reassured
Then it will be your noose

Yes, this happens very often. Some people have lost their lives this way.

I think I wrote this before people started doing TikToks that got them killed too.

I don’t have TikTok. I only hear about things from people who have it. How sad that someone would do something so risky just for views.

I’ve just seen articles about it.

Very prophetic, Charles. There are really some dumb things on TikTok, Insta, and YouTube nowadays.

Yup. Prior to that it was MySpace and Livejournal. Probably happened more locally prior to social media. Guess streaking at big events would count.

I like your rhyme pattern for this one.
Also, it made me think of the current Republican VP candidate. A few years ago he went around the extremist social media making inflammatory statements about cat ladies and the real purpose of older women.
I’m sure all the goons thought that was so much fun. But now? Not so much.

Thanks. I think I heard of him doing that. News seems so fast-paced and garbled lately.
