Harley and her Hyenas
(I think we all know a person like this. Maybe some of us have gone through a phase where we were this person.)
Hurling nasty barbs
At all that you find silly
Your goal is laughter
But only from your throat
You ignore every request
For apologies or silence
You claim it is your charm
To mock what they enjoy
Their rage brings out your smile
Putting edges on your giggles
They simply miss your humor
Which is far above their head

I sure do know one of these.

I liked Harley better in the animated. What they’re doing in the comics now is more irritating, at least to me.

I haven’t read the comics. Her original cartoon form is definitely the best for many fans.

Yeah, I definitely know people like that who make horrific barbs toward me with what I enjoy and have hobbies for. There were definitely moments of laughter and sadistic smiles towards my way. That or they smile when I’m legitimately outraged about something which was unnerving. It’s a shame I never returned the favor to those same people.

Some people only feel happy when hurting others.

That’s sadly the case. I’m not going to lie and say I was never tempted to be hurtful to those who hurt me since I did get a little caustic at points with a recent post I did on one of my blogs after seeing something disrespectful. That’s not counting other things irrelevant to that which I learned about.

Interesting basis for a poem. These people are definitely out there.
