First, a treat connected to The Spirit Well:
Last of the tests
Before the final clash
Never touched
By champion or fiend
The Spirit Well is sleeping
Only one knows the way
Yet cast it from her mind
To forget fear
And shameful acts
The Spirit Well is hiding
Heroes will follow the path
Without a guide
And blind to all danger
As destiny meets its end
The Spirit Well is waiting
About Charles Yallowitz
Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
This is a terrific blurb. Nicely done.

It’s actually a poem. Not sure many people noticed when I tested the blurbs two weeks ago. Though I do remember you commenting on them.

I know it is a poem. I should have said it would make a great blurb.

Got it. That would be an interesting blurb method. Poetic blurbs. Wonder if I can do that with any future series.

I don’t see why not. Not conventional but so what?

Convention . . . shmavention? shmuvention? As you said, so what. We’re indie authors. We no need no stinkin’ conventions. At least that’s what we’re saying behind closed doors. 😛

Me too. Got it last night, so I’m curious about how it will come out. The ghostly limbs are going to be a very cool effect.

The best way to work with an artist is to give them an idea and get out of their way.

Very true. I’ve seen some indie authors try to keep very tight reins on cover artists. Doesn’t work out well.

Great sketch, Charles! Poem is concise, meaningful! Could be a quote (introduction) for the story. 💛 Christine

Yay! Which came first, the great cover or the great poem to inspire the cover?

The poem was set up a month or two ago. I put it late enough that Jason would have time for a cover teaser. 🙂
