Originally the guardian of Visindor Forest, Fizzle met Luke Callindor during the warrior’s first adventure. He was already known to Selenia and her students, especially since he routinely appeared in the cafeteria to claim an apple pie. Having learned Tradespeak from a child, Fizzle had some trouble explaining his thoughts, but he still became a vital member of Luke’s team during his time at Hamilton Military Academy. To the surprise of everyone, the small dragon decided to hand over his duties to his cousin and follow his new friends on their adventures.
Fast, cunning, and powerful, Fizzle has proven to be a threat to the Baron’s agents, including the deadly Stephen Kernaghan. His fierce loyalty to the champions has caused him to take the lead and challenge beings that are much stronger than himself. Yet, Fizzle always has a trick in mind or simply attempts to make his enemies ‘go poof’ with a disintegration spell. Outside of battle, his knowledge of magical creatures and lore is essential. Although, he is easily confused when in cities, especially when he sees aspects of society that he can’t connect to something from the wild.
Yay!! Fizzle is such a wonderful member of a team, which already has a great mix of skills. His scenes are always fun to read. 🙂

Thanks. He’s a tough one to fit in too since he isn’t a champion. In the game, he was more of a mascot and deus ex machina if we got stuck. Doesn’t work that way in the books, so I’m glad he came out well.

Fizzle sounds a bit like me in the cities, I get confused too.

I think he’s gotten better now that he’s used to it. At least he knows who to stay near or simply stays around the rooftops.

Dicey internet here today. My like buttons won’t even load. I’ll just say “good one,” and hope it goes through.

Got it. I’ve been having a similar problem since yesterday morning for some reason. Had to jury rig the router using my limited tech knowledge and arsenal of swear words.

A fan favorite, indeed. Hurry up with those plushies.
Although he’s a bit of an enigma to me. I’m half-convinced he fakes his naivety through his child-like use of language, when in fact he’s rather cunning and a formidable opponent. Of course, that makes him rather more devious than most realize…

If only I knew an aspiring toy-maker.
Fizzle is rather cunning, but he also has some naivety. Not as much as people think. Drites don’t interact with people very often, so there they don’t understand a lot of what’s going on. Fizzle has actually become an oddity. Typically, a Drite will stick to their territory and not go on an adventure or even consider entering a city.
