Alexandra Butcher is doing a Thunderclap campaign too. This is for her 99 cent collection of fantasy short stories. Her’s ends the same time as mine, so please lend a hand with social media support and maybe even buy her book HERE!
At the writing of this post, it is at 97 of 100. Soooo close and yet so far. Again, this ends at noon tomorrow. Spread the word or grab a specific friend to volunteer. Thanks to everyone who has helped by giving their support and spreading the word. Hopefully we make it. Either way, this is the last mention of it until I post the results and my experience tomorrow night or Sunday.
I’ll be reblogging about this tomorrow night, but I’m going to mention it here too. Gwen Bristol is holding a month long contest that revolves around LEGENDS OF WINDEMERE. Each week, you can win a copy of one of the LEGENDS OF WINDEMERE volumes or get it for a friend while you get one of two other books that have been offered. At the end of the month, all participants will be entered into a drawing where the winner gets a $15 Burger King Giftcard. All you have to do is the following:
On your blog, post a story, poem or opinion on this prompt: What makes a good fantasy character? Ping back to this article so I know you’ve entered.
If you don’t have a blog, you can like my author page on Facebook and respond to the status with the same prompt. What makes a good fantasy character? Here’s the link: https://www.facebook.com/AuthorGwenBristol.
Fourth order of Business: SLIGHT HIBERNATION TOMORROW!
No link here. Just a warning that you probably won’t see much of me outside of my own blog and anything I can focus on in the morning. Tomorrow is Yom Kippur, which means I don’t eat from sundown to sundown. It’s already started, but it means I have to constantly distract myself. Rushing around the Internet and editing doesn’t do that. Sleeping in and playing Symphony of the Night all day is what works. Though I’ve been trying to lower my calorie intake for the last month or two, which has resulted in me getting hungry quicker. In other words, you’ll either not hear from me until Sunday or get badly written/bizarre responses to things. I know book promoting is out of the question.
