Just a few more days for the Legends of Windemere Thunderclap campaign and I’ve been stuck at 74 for days. I have until Saturday to get 26 more volunteers to make this a success. I’ve tried tweets, Facebook posts, and WordPress posts. For now, I’m doing this post and then one on Friday night. After that, I’ll talk about my experience with this and give my Pro/Con opinion. (At least after I’ve eaten since this campaign ends on Yom Kippur, Jewish Day of Fasting.)

Thanks. I’ve done the same. I think I’m just trying to fight to the bitter end on this.

Did you post it in readers and writers Unite on facebook or ask Chris Graham to promote it. Both might work.

Never heard of that group, but I posted in about 20 others. I got a few the first two times, but the well has run dry. Honestly, I didn’t want to go that far with this thing because it’s a promotional tool in itself. Also this is revealing a lot about my own social media power, which isn’t pretty.

Readers and Writer unite gets a lot of interaction from readers. They love to help authors.

I’m looking for it on Facebook. The only one I found was inactive from April until mid-September.

It is actually writers and readers unite and had 19,000 member. I had that backwards

Thanks. I’ll join and see what happens. Honestly, I see a lot of the same posters I see in the other groups. I’ll post about the campaign when I get in and keep my fingers crossed.

Reblogged this on 1WriteWay and commented:
Time is running out to participate in the Legends of Windemere Thunderclap campaign. It doesn’t cost a cent to participate. More importantly, you would be helping the one and only Charles Yallowitz, author of the high fantasy series Legends of Windemere! Go to Charles’s blog and click on that cute Capybara!

I do hope you can reach your goal Charles. If not I hope you can be philosophical about it, learn from it and move on. 🙂

Thanks. I got a few with that post, but I’m definitely looking more at the silver lining now.

Hope we don’t need to summon zombies to help you reach your goal. 🙂

Might come down to that. Only at 80 and tweeting about it doesn’t do anything. This ends at noon on Saturday, so it’s not looking good.
