Well, Legends of Windemere: Family of the Tri-Rune is live and I just finished contacting all of my debut month advertising sites. Any help in spreading the word will be appreciated it. I do have the blog tour scheduled for the first half of April and the information has been sent. Now I’m simply not sure what to do for the rest of the day. I should probably eat and shower. Tomorrow I go back to the 7th book and life returns to somewhat normal. I’ll be checking my sales numbers for the new book every hour because I’m that level of crazy.
I admit to being scared of this book debut because of what I saw with the third. I might make a post in a week or so about this. Though, I might have already talked about how a series will have staggered sales or something. People don’t jump in on the 4th book, so that one will start off slower than the first. It’s really a game of hoping I can get momentum on one book to set off the others. Like I said, the idea doesn’t really make sense to me yet. I’ll see how the first week goes.
I think I’ve run out of topics or my brain is melted. So, I ask again, is there any topic or question that people want me to answer? I already have next week set up with magical items and their uses/rules. After that, I’m stumped.
Goals for the week:
- Promote Legends of Windemere: Family of the Tri-Rune.
- Write Legends of Windemere: Sleeper of the Wildwood Fugue.
- Plan out future blog posts.
- Eat jellybeans.
- Bike, sleep, yawn, and eat when time permits.
- Stop leaning back and hitting my head on the alarm clock. This one might need some urgency.
- Have toddler run around the yard in afternoons.
- Put on socks.

Just a thought. On the twubs chat you mentioned 140 characters were hard to answer questions. Maybe you could take a few of those questions and expand your answers to help promote you and your books. Thinking out loud here so this may make no sense at all.

Good idea. Maybe switch all of next week’s blog posts back a week and do one questions. As long as I have enough. Thanks. Any specific ones that you can think of?

Specifics? Are you kidding? I’ve slept since then. My memory is always foggy

I’m no good. All I remember is Bor’daruk.

For some reason, the Twubs site isn’t letting me go back in the conversation. No idea what I would take from it.

Are your comments still in your twitter feed? I have mine. Maybe you could ask the others. It was a small group. I just sent you an email with part of the chat at least.

My comments are and I’ll take a look through them. I’m seeing a lot of ‘dangerous’ topics and some that I’ve touched on before. Though the Bor’daruk and listening to readers gives me an idea for a weekly theme. Probably do it after this week. Perception of Readers vs Perception of the Author.

Plushies vs Furries, and the benefits of both as Windemere merch. 😉

I’m wondering what you think Furries are.

Do you know what furries are?

I do and I blame CSI for it.

I love the list, but how does put on socks fit into the grand scheme of things? 🙂

You only sell your books on Amazon, yes?

Yeah. I use KDP Select. I tried Smashwords when I put out my first book and they wouldn’t sell not matter what I did. Even a free week didn’t help it. I think I got really down about it when I was getting messages from people saying they downloaded the free sample and enjoyed it, but they wanted the book for free.

Oh ok. I don’t have a Kindle, i have a Kobo so i can’t download the eBooks from Amazon into my eReader and reading on the computer sucks. Oh well.

Sorry about that. I’ve been running into more Kobo readers. I guess it’s gaining in popularity.
