Let Cry the Ferrets of Chaos!

A week to go
Before release
Let everyone fall to hell
Aching body
Frazzled mind
The noise is driving me insane
Holidays are looming
As if mocking me with grins
Stealing time I want
To steel myself against
Chaos has already shown
It is dancing in my face
Best laid plans
Dashed upon the rocks
And stabbed for heinous kicks
Not all of me will see the end
Things are making sure of that
The gypsy shall dance
When the calendar turns
Then havoc will ensue

It appears the universe, god, or whatever supernatural force that enjoys fucking with me has opted to throw some chaotic events into my debut period.  I can’t go into it here, but just know that I might be borderline basket case by the end of December.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  1. As my wife told me the other day when I was complaining about galley edits, “this is self inflicted.”

  4. The experience of running into and dealing with all this chaos hopefully will be helpful as you incorporate chaos into your stories. “Just think, what inopportune thing would happen to me if I were the protagonist right now?” 🙂

My thoughts and prayers are with you. You must say, “This too shall pass.” Wishing you the best of luck with the debut also. i am excited for you. You are not merely a survivor, you are a conqueror.

Well…as they say, it doesn’t rain unless it pours…I’m glad to see that the storm is calming down!
