Two weeks until the debut of Allure of the Gypsies. So, go buy Beginning of a Hero and Prodigy of Rainbow Tower. Then call in sick to work until you finish. If you’re too responsible and mature for that, spend the day hanging out with sick toddlers. Help the community and earn yourself the reward of disease.
I got halfway through Chapter 2 of Curse of the Dark Wind, so I’m hoping to get further this week. Probably not considering I have ‘parent/teacher’ meeting on Tuesday and planning for the book debut. I set up all my November posts, so those are no longer a problem. Hype week is shaping into this:
- 24th will be Goal Post and announcement of Goodreads Giveaway for first two novels.
- 25th will be Cover Reveal, post about family theme, and a location poem.
- 26th will be Sari poems, interview, and gypsy post.
- 27th will be Kalam & Isaiah poems, interview, and Fireskin post.
- 28th will be Callindor family poem, interview with Luke’s mom, and brief Callindor history.
- 29th will be the first scene of Allure of the Gypsies divided into 3 parts over the day.
- 30th will be a post about the Twubs chat and a character listing to help those who haven’t read the book.
I’ll be scattering some posts about volunteering for the Cover Reveal and Blog Tour as well as reminding people about the Twubs chat. Hopefully, it isn’t just me sitting there by my lonesome for 2 hours.
So, goals of the week:
- Continue writing Curse of the Dark Wind.
- Continue asking for volunteers for hype events.
- Make sure all advertising sites and materials are prepared.
- Get a little more sleep.
- Ponder the secret behind ceiling fan hypnosis.
- Stop staring at ceiling fans
- Maybe write up the promo info for the 4th book if I feel inspired.
I’m hoping this is a low-stress week, so I can rest up for hype week and the debut. On December 1st, I’m going to have to post my own part of the blog tour, send the email out to everyone with blog tour info and their posting date, and submit to all the promotional sites. The posts never go up at the same time, so it creates a scattering around the month and gets it off my plate. Still working toward one of them though, but the involves the first two books for now. Now, I’m off to slowly wander through this day.

lol, “…ceiling fan hypnosis”.

Awesome! 🙂 Cover is so cool!!!
Me and Billy the Kid is going good, I guess. Don’t know really. Had nine people show up at the book signing, though.
And as soon as I make it to town and get some more envelopes, I’ll get your copy in the mail! 🙂

Good to hear everything is going well. 9 people at the signing sounds great for a first time. The cover reveal is going to be exciting. Glad so many people volunteered for it and the blog tour.

I’m seasonally blind. It’s weird. I only have to read with glasses during the school term.

Thanks. Hoping I can get a chapter done since I’m starting the week with a stiff neck. Just can’t win some days.
