A week of pain
Has been left behind
It seemed to try its worst
Death and sadness
Lackluster moods
A diet dashed to the rocks
All culminating
In a day of agony and stress
That time has passed
A week anew
I’m tired of the games
Deadlines can kiss my ass
Only miracles are overnight
I wish to go the distance
Forging my path
With a sword of my own design
About Charles Yallowitz
Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
You okay my friend? huggs

Rough week and the stress caught up to me. I’m fine now. Hoping it continues to improve though.

A lot of us going through that lately… wondering why… are we in mercury retrograde again or something?
Hope it improves for you too my friend…

Glad you liked it. Working on some last minute edits of Allure of the Gypsies. Life has caused a slight delay.

Hell yeah! Come out swinging big dog! Poetry should bring out the emotion and this one did. Speaking of poetry, are you still slacking on the next collection? π Not like you have anything else going on you know… he he he

I don’t even have it planned since I have so much else to do. The poetry collection doesn’t really sell, so I have to focus on the big projects.

Well boo. I bought it. I’ll buy the next one too, so you have a guaranteed sale… π

Probably something to put together when I have a long break between books and the time to put it together. I might make the next one bigger, but 100 poems sounds extreme.
