Genre Hugger

ComfortZoneTried and true
Changes make him blue

A one trick pony perhaps
Critics write in all CAPS

Yet he stays within his box
Locked up tighter than Fort Knox

The genre author writes away
Happy no matter what you say

His work is crisp and clean
Why are some snobs so mean?

No interest in diverting path
He will incur his haters’ wrath

A career in a single field of art
This author and his genre shall never part

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  3. Criticized for fitting in the genre and also criticized for departing from it. The only solution is to do what you enjoy. πŸ™‚
