He’s Out!
Longest day
Starting with a walk
Across the town
To make myself more man
Than a rabid werewolf
Driving to a family gathering
Beyond the holy wifi
Today is an epic blur
Leaving me exhausted
While the toddler roars and plays
Let him roam the house
As I sleep beneath the bed
How much trouble can he make?
(Just one more day and then I make be able to get my blogging/editing schedule back on track.)

They look so peaceful & adorable when they’re asleep. 😉 They still look adorable when awake, but so much for the peace.

I really miss the days when he slept during the day. If I let him nap then he stays up until 10 PM.

My daughter has always refused naps. She used to be the last asleep, but fortunately stayed in the bed. Getting her to go to bed by 10 p.m., now that she’s in school, would be an improvement. It boggles my mind. 🙂

My son didn’t start napping until he was 8 months old. He was always good about sleeping through the night too. These days we simply have to keep him entertained to keep him awake.
