Ionia of Readfulthings posted a great poem about sayings from America and the UK. It got me thinking of the sayings we have that don’t make any sense. I could talk about it, but George Carlin did it first and better. The man was truly a genius of language. Enjoy and laugh!

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

Funny, but I liked his stoner humor best 🙂 That was a bit earlier.

I got started on him with 7 Dirty Words and kept going. He was used several times in my college Anthropology courses when the topic was language.

It’s surprising how many comedians are also philosophers.

Be interesting to hear, but he was American-based and he passed away a few years ago. Or expired like a magazine subscription. 😉

Oh that’s sad to hear he passed away – ‘Passed away to where?’ I could hear him saying though. 🙂

In my previous video post, I had his set on euphemisms and he says something about it.
